They’ve been serving the residents of Detroit and surrounding areas for a number of years, and they offer a range of dedicated exotic pet healthcare services.

Dr. Jerrod Notebaert has a special interest in exotic pets, and is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), and the Association of Reptilian & Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV).

They list the exotic pets they treat as ferrets, rabbits, reptiles, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, and birds.

Their promise to each and every pet and pet owner is:

To be a compassionate and caring staff and to provide comfort, genuine care, and high-quality medicine to our patients and their owners.

They offer all the veterinary services you would expect from a modern facility. Including dentistry, surgery, boarding, and more.

Most importantly, they offer dedicated care to exotic and small pets. This includes birds, chickens, domestic ducks, and other pets.

Their vets are also happy to give you advice on nutrition, care, and other things that’ll help if you’re a new owner, too. Don’t hesitate to reach out and give them a call if you have any concerns about your pets.

In Summary - Hope You Found an Avian Vet Near You

I know how difficult a choice it can be choosing a vet you’re comfortable with. As well as the anxiety that comes with the cost, caring for a sick animal, and so on.

If you have a sick bird, however, you have to take action sooner rather than later. The important thing is that you first separate them from other animals, then you should call an avian vet and ask for advice.

All of the practices listed above should be able to give you all the advice you need to get your beloved pet back to full health. That’s what really matters.
